Hey everyone, sorry to have to delay the Weekly Roundup for a day. The sad truth is that I spent around 6 hours in Chisinau traffic today as the complete lack of parking in the city ran headlong into the holidays ran into mass street closures for construction. I wish I could say I had lots of places to be but that only reflected a few short meetings around the city. That pretty much torpedoed the day so we’ll put the roundup together tomorrow morning for your reading pleasure.
In the meantime…. if anyone has some good ideas to deal with the parking and traffic situation I encourage you to share them here! Someone in city hall really needs some good ideas….
David - I hear you! Just got back from Chisinau about a week ago and I'll say the traffic was just awful, even without so many of the small minibuses around town. But I will say...wow on the new sidewalks! Very impressive!
one option--time travel back to what I remember in 1995 when traffic was no problem at all...not very practical, I realize, but best I can come up with on short notice.
