If Russian hackers can hack the US election, which they were convicted for, they can absolutely hack the Moldova election also… Not to mention all the boats they paid for… I would love to have seen the results in a fair election. Thank you for another great article!

Sorry, but you are not informed about all public information about MAN Party in campaigning for „YES” in the referendum. We have distributed more than 300 thousand informational materials all over the country (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/kUCXvuVuhSM7kCCu/) . We participated in 5 public debates at national TV campaigning for YES (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfZOhVRIlkN7sAuneDMKfJGpEVEFb2PL0&si=vhueEnhXI9NTURMt) and few for radio. I would kindly ask you to edit your article, or in this manner it is misleading.

Hello Victor, thank you for your comment and for your links. I have edited the article reflecting the fact that the MAN party participated in 5 debates not one. Of course, only 1 debate was publicized on the MAN party facebook page. Which goes to support the point, which is well explained by ZdG(https://www.zdg.md/stiri/politic/ion-ceban-a-votat-cum-nu-a-facut-campanie-primarul-capitalei-pentru-referendumul-privind-integrarea-europeana/), that the party did not actively campaign for the referendum.

I do not believe that the article mischaracterized the MAN party participation in the vote. At the same time I am open to other opinions and I'm open to hearing more from your perspective as a party spokesmen. If you reply to any Moldova Matters email you'll get connected to me directly and we can talk or I'd be more than happy to meet for a coffee.

Thank you very much for your reply, mr. Smith. We have informed Ziarul de Garda that their article is no complete and we sent them all information with links and pictures. They refused to edit the article so we are taking legal actions in this regard. Together with my colleagues, we have visited hundreds of cities and villages speaking with people about referendum, we have organised meetings with personnel in more than 450 social institutions (schools, kindergartens, hospitals). I can provide you with hundreds of pictures. If we don’t post so much it does not mean we are not campaigning.

You know Victor, choosing not to posts any information about your campaign online and then suing journalists does seem to be a totally normal way of campaigning to me. No speeches by the leader of your party, no speeches by your single MP, literally no social media posts at all. That seems like a totally usual campaign.

If you would like to send me the "hundreds of pictures" you reference please do. My contacts are explained above.

I want to stress, I am 100% open to better understanding you. We have some common friends and I want to believe what you are saying. But MAN has gone out of its way to hide this campaigning you are talking about and I think ZdG is well within norms to note it.
