Hi, I'm a middle school teacher in suburban Chicago. One of my students wants to make cards and notes of support for Ukrainian refugees. Could we send a package of letters that you could distribute along with supplies? Please let me know. LBrown@op97.org

Another option for donating online is to MAD-Aid, a UK charity with operations in Riscani, northern Moldova, near the border with Ukraine. There is a FB fundraiser: facebook.com/donate/488118066241314/10167319802870487 and people can donate through PayPal or credit card directly on MAD-Aid's website: mad-aid.org.uk I am a former member of Friends of Moldova and have worked pro bono (as consultant) with the founder of MAD-Aid since 2016 and can 100% vouch for their integrity.

Thank you for the update! Justice and Mercy International helps vulnerable children in Moldova and our 40+ staff on the ground have been working tirelessly to help Ukrainian refugees in this crisis. We are partnering with churches and other organizations, including Samaritan's Purse to help as much as possible. Here is the link for updates to give towards our efforts.

Thanks for the updates! I was waiting for the links you sent to donate. Is there need for volunteers in Chisinau or elsewhere? Didn't see any mention of it on the Facebook page. I live in Ungheni, and speak pretty much no Russian but can get by with my Romanian. I can assist pretty much any time or day.

Cru, short for Campus Crusade, is a ministry operating in Moldova. They are running vans to the border and transporting folks back to their office for short term lodging and food.

Here is a link you can donate at specifically to help with those expenses:
